With RaiseNow, nonprofits can promote their causes to potential donors
Switzerland’s RaiseNow provides an all-in-one, user-friendly fundraising platform. They make it easy for nonprofits to find supporters, build their communities, and collect donations.
To help monetize, RaiseNow looked to integrate native ads into their product, so that charities could be promoted to potential donors — ultimately helping to drive more contributions.
Unfortunately, no out-of-the-box ad server could provide the flexibility they needed, and they didn't have the time or resources to build the ad platform entirely from scratch.
So RaiseNow turned to Kevel’s ad APIs to launch a full-featured ad platform that would make it easy to manage, serve, and optimize these native ads. After just a few weeks they had released the exact ad product they wanted.
With these native ad units, nonprofits can pay for increased visibility of their causes. By being in front of users who are actively looking to contribute, these promotions drive more donations in a cost-effective manner.
Meanwhile, RaiseNow has a new revenue stream that helps them keep their service fees low.
We are growing quickly, and it didn’t make sense to build an ad server ourselves when we could launch one with Kevel in much less time.

RaiseNow’s integration is enabled entirely through APIs, so there are no Kevel tags or cookies involved, and the only data Kevel receives is what RaiseNow chooses to send.
Having access to Kevel’s UI and Management APIs makes it easy for RaiseNow to set up campaigns and manage their native ads. This automation ensures that the RaiseNow team can focus on improving their core fundraising platform — instead of spending time manually rotating banners and pausing campaigns when they hit a cap.
With Kevel, RaiseNow can easily incorporate more ad units into their platform, and the long-term vision is to add promoted listings into browsing and search results, so that charities can pay for top listings within relevant categories.
Integrating with Kevel was much faster than we expected, and their docs and team were very helpful in getting us live.
